DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Collaborate on Windows and Linux VDI environments utilizing VMware/Hyper-V, Citrix, and RHEV manager.

• Set up and configure Windows Server 2008, 2012, and Windows Desktop.

• Configure Windows Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).

• Manage HPE and NetApp hardware systems.

• Automate application installations and deployments using Puppet.

• Oversee virtual imaging, packaging, and automated software distribution processes.

• Leverage Atlassian tools, including Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Nexus.

• Create scripts in PowerShell, bash, and Python.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible, Terraform, and Puppet.

• Handle Software Configuration Management tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of Windows and Linux VDI environments based on VMware/Hyper-V, Citrix, and RHEV manager.

• Proficient in configuring Windows Server 2008, 2012, and Windows Desktop.

• Experience with Windows VDI configuration.

• Familiarity with HPE and NetApp hardware.

• Excellent skills in end-to-end automation using Puppet for application installation and deployment.

• Experience with virtual imaging, packaging, and automated software distribution tools.

• Proficient in Atlassian tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Nexus.

• Knowledge of scripting languages, including various Shell languages like PowerShell, bash, and Python.

• Skills in Infrastructure automation, specifically with IaC tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Puppet.

• Competence in Software Configuration Management.

• Experience with MS Build or Maven.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
