DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Partner with teams to implement and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS utilizing infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi) that prioritize security, scalability, and high availability.

• Engage collaboratively with software engineering to establish infrastructure, as well as build, release, and deployment tools.

• Work alongside information security to understand requirements and integrate security and compliance tools.

• Diagnose issues across a diverse range of services and functional areas.

• Develop and sustain operational tools for the deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems, ensuring their availability, performance, security, and scalability.

• Offer architectural and process enhancement recommendations.

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of an exceptional technology system to fulfill our mission of creating beautiful return experiences for Shoppers, Retailers, and the Planet.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in designing, provisioning, and managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.

• Capability in code development in at least one high-level programming language.

• Understanding of Kubernetes and containerized applications.

• Proficiency in working with a cloud service provider, preferably AWS.

• Experience with Docker, Git, and software development methodologies for application deployment.

• Familiarity with utilizing GitHub Actions (or similar tools) for building, testing, and deploying software.

• Acquainted with database technologies such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Previous experience with cloud observability platforms like DataDog or NewRelic.

• A strong desire to be part of a collaborative environment, working closely with Product Managers and Engineers.

• Interest in e-commerce, logistics, and/or sustainability.

• Comfort with using the latest AI-powered tools (IDEs, agents, automated reviewers) to enhance and support daily development, debugging, and technical tasks.
