DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment and testing processes.

• Oversee and enhance cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Develop and manage containerization solutions utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.

• Create and manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Generate and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with development teams to elevate code quality and streamline deployment practices.

• Implement and oversee monitoring and logging solutions to guarantee system reliability and performance.

• Diagnose and resolve issues within development, testing, and production environments.

• Enforce and uphold security best practices and compliance standards.

• Continuously assess and integrate new technologies to enhance DevOps processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in DevOps or equivalent roles.

• Strong expertise in cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Proficient in containerization technologies, especially Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Skilled in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Thorough understanding of CI/CD tools and methodologies, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.

• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus and the ELK stack.

• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

• Experience in agile work environments.

• Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle.

• Awareness of security best practices and compliance mandates.
