DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mauritius.

📋 Description

• Design, scale, and manage our infrastructure utilizing automation and configuration management tools.

• Collaborate closely with development and security teams to create and implement resilient, scalable services.

• Oversee service health, address incidents, and ensure optimal availability and performance.

• Establish continuous integration and delivery pipelines for efficient and dependable deployments.

• Carry out post-incident analyses and implement preventative strategies to avert future occurrences.

• Enhance system performance by applying capacity planning methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent level of experience.

• Comprehensive understanding of the security landscape, encompassing cloud and infrastructure security, vulnerability management, monitoring, and incident response.

• Strong expertise in Linux/Unix administration and proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of configuration management tools (Terraform, Helm charts) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, IaC).

• Familiarity with compliance standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001 and GDPR, ensuring adherence to necessary regulations.

• Awareness of continuous integration and deployment methodologies.

• A problem-solving mindset with a strong emphasis on reliability and availability.
