DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Oversees source code management, configuration management, release management, and activities related to build and deployment.

• Establishes and manages integrations with partner applications.

• Performs performance analyses, tuning, as well as conducting error analyses and troubleshooting.

• Advises on and implements innovative technologies to align with the innovation strategy.

• Develops concepts for further automation of services, processes, and/or operational models.

• Provides direct support to project teams in development, quality assurance during development, and in the planning and execution of product releases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a Master's degree in Information Technology.

• Have at least 2 years of experience with ICT systems.

• Demonstrated advanced experience with scripting languages such as Bash and Python.

• Advanced proficiency in Linux Operating Systems.

• Intermediate experience with OTC, AWS, or Azure.

• Advanced knowledge of Docker.

• Intermediate experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift.

• Advanced proficiency in Git.

• Intermediate experience with Jenkins or GitLab.

• Basic knowledge of Maven or Gradle.

• Intermediate experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.

• Intermediate experience with ELK, Prometheus, Icinga, Jaeger, or Grafana.

• Advanced networking skills.

• Intermediate experience in security.

• Possess strong communication skills, be a team player, and demonstrate analytical thinking, training abilities, and presentation skills.

• Proficient in English at an upper-intermediate level (B2).

• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies, including Scrum and SAFe.
