DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and oversee robust cloud infrastructure along with automation scripts to guarantee high availability and scalability.

• Create and sustain advanced CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions to streamline testing and deployment workflows.

• Administer containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes, facilitating smooth deployments and resource optimization through Helm charts.

• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure that Node.js and Python applications are well-structured, containerized, and deployed following industry best practices.

• Monitor system performance, diagnose infrastructure issues, and implement proactive strategies to avert downtime.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in DevOps roles concentrating on deployment, infrastructure as code, and automation.

• Strong practical experience with GitHub Actions for intricate workflow automation.

• Extensive background in managing production workloads with Kubernetes and Docker.

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• Fundamental: In-depth knowledge of GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.

• Language Proficiency: Profound understanding of the Node.js and Python ecosystems (structure, dependency management, and implementation).

• Architectural Insight: A solid understanding of Systems Design & Architecture is a significant advantage.

• Tools: Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and monitoring tools.

• Analytical Thinking: Outstanding problem-solving abilities with a meticulous eye for detail in complex systems.

• Communication: Proficient in English, capable of clearly articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
