DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Assist in advanced research, development, and operational initiatives within cyberspace operations.

• Contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and securing of high-performance systems that align with national security goals.

• Create, develop, and manage containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar technologies).

• Oversee and enhance CI/CD pipelines that facilitate application, data, and machine learning workloads.

• Apply DevOps and MLOps best practices throughout development, testing, and production settings.

• Supervise data collection, ingestion, and curation processes to support analytics and machine learning applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, data scientists, and systems engineers.

• Maintain relationships with external vendors.

• Enforce security, compliance, and governance protocols across infrastructure and data workflows.

• Diagnose infrastructure issues and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

• Execute administrative responsibilities for the lab.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

• Extensive hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, container registries).

• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent).

• Proficient in implementing MLOps and DevOps tools (MLFlow, Ansible, etc.).

• Familiarity with data workflows, including data ingestion, processing, quality validation, and cataloging.

• Experience in managing vendor integrations and technical partnerships.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and project coordination abilities.
