DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jordan.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, execution, and management of scalable cloud infrastructure.

• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines.

• Automate operational and infrastructure processes.

• Oversee containerized environments.

• Handle application deployments, environments, and release procedures.

• Implement security measures, manage vulnerabilities, and adopt DevSecOps methodologies.

• Utilize monitoring and logging tools to track system performance.

• Resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Administration.

• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.

• Experience in Linux system administration and shell scripting.

• Competence in scripting languages including Bash, PowerShell, or Python.

• Familiarity with source control and version management using Git.

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or equivalent.

• Experience in managing application deployments, environments, and release processes.

• Understanding of networking concepts, load balancing, DNS, SSL, and security best practices.

• Experience in implementing security measures, vulnerability management, and DevSecOps practices.

• Awareness of SQL and database administration concepts.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Certifications in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Kubernetes are preferred.

• Experience with microservices architecture is preferred.

• Knowledge of container security and cloud governance is preferred.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.

• Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery solutions is preferred.
