DevOps Engineer – Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within an agile team to develop and sustain our innovative DevOps CI/CD pipeline.

• Leverage your software development expertise to create and integrate automated solutions for various tasks.

• Assist in onboarding our over 50 internal services, products, and components.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of system functionality and architecture, emphasizing the operational aspects of the service.

• Engage with team members to review each other's work and receive feedback on your contributions.

• Partner with other teams to determine and develop necessary integrations.

• Participate in the Scrum methodology throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Provide product support to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Collaborate in a team environment where your team is responsible for the services you create.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

• Experience in developing and managing a DevOps CI/CD Pipeline.

• Proficient in writing automation scripts using object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java, alongside Terraform and Unix Shell (bash, ksh).

• Skilled in creating Docker containers or deploying applications with Kubernetes.

• Between 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps and/or build & release processes, including deployment to production environments.

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.), including strategies for branching and merging.

• Experience in monitoring, managing, and reporting systems, and constructing observability dashboards for application and server performance and scalability challenges (e.g., SignalFX, New Relic, or other operational monitoring tools).

• Experience with centralized logging tools such as Sumologic or similar products.

• Proficient in using continuous delivery and integration tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory.

• Familiarity with automation/configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

• Hands-on experience with continuous deployment in a professional software engineering setting.

• Practical knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or GCP.

• Willingness to provide after-hours support as required for emergency or urgent situations.
