DevOps, Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and uphold a robust cloud infrastructure on Azure.

• Create, execute, and oversee CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps Pipelines.

• Establish and enforce quality gates within the pipelines, which include essential test coverage thresholds, security scans, and other evaluations.

• Develop, deploy, and administer cloud infrastructure employing Bicep templates.

• Architect, configure, and manage cloud networking infrastructure.

• Provision, set up, and sustain core Azure services.

• Identify avenues for automating infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and operational tasks.

• Assist in the establishment and maintenance of monitoring and logging solutions.

• Collaborate closely with development teams to comprehend their infrastructure requirements and deployment needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a similar infrastructure role.

• Proven experience in implementing and enforcing quality gates, test coverage policies, and security scanning within CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash for automation purposes.

• Capability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment challenges.

• Understanding of best practices in cloud security.

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines.

• Proficient in Bicep with a solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles.

• In-depth knowledge of Azure services and architecture.

• Comprehensive understanding of cloud networking concepts, especially hub-and-spoke topology, VNET peering, VPN Gateway, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Private DNS, and Azure Firewall.

• Experience with Docker is an advantage.
