DevOps Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take charge of DevOps architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CDK/CloudFormation.

• Spearhead the setup of AWS services, including Amazon Connect, IAM, DynamoDB, Lex bots, and Lambda integrations.

• Oversee multi-environment deployments and manage cross-account pipelines.

• Mentor and guide the DevOps team throughout sprints and delivery processes.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to infrastructure, applications, voice, SIP, and platform.

• Work collaboratively with engineering, architecture, QA, and analytics teams during incidents and releases.

• Incorporate security best practices ("secure-by-default") into the pipeline, focusing on access control and vulnerability scanning.

• Establish monitoring solutions (CloudWatch, X-Ray) and manage incident response.

• Promote automation, testing, and maintain environment stability.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in supporting production systems within a DevOps, SRE, or operations-focused role.

• Extensive knowledge of AWS cloud services.

• Significant hands-on experience with EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, and VPC networking.

• Strong background in Unix/Linux production environments.

• Comprehensive understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, TCP/IP, routing, and firewalls.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and practices.

• Excellent troubleshooting and investigative skills.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, architecture, data, and operations teams.

• Preferred: Migration experience (Genesys / LivePerson → Amazon Connect).

• Experience with Salesforce/ServiceNow CTI integration.

• Exposure to AWS Bedrock / GenAI.

• AWS DevOps or Solutions Architect Professional certifications.
