This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Integrate knowledge from physiology, pathophysiology, and cardiac device operations to carry out proficient evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and comprehensive analyses through remote monitoring.
• Identify abnormal operations of pacemakers, defibrillators, ILRs, and CRT devices, and suggest strategies to resolve and rectify issues.
• Liaise with Rhythm’s clinical team and providers concerning CIED functionality and diagnostic information through precise, professional, and standardized documentation.
• Uphold the confidentiality of sensitive information and comply with all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Protected Health Information (PHI) standards and protocols.
• Support and contribute to Rhythm’s philosophy of patient-centered care: Every team member acts as a caregiver, dedicated to addressing the needs of the patient.
• A Bachelor’s or associate degree is required OR relevant experience in fields such as nursing, medicine, electronics, or engineering.
• Successful completion of a cardiac device rhythm management course or equivalent experience is essential.
• Over 2 years of recent experience in managing implanted cardiac devices, with familiarity with all manufacturer programmers.
• A minimum of 3 years of cardiology experience is required, with a preference for cardiac electrophysiology.
• Experience in interrogating and interpreting device diagnostics for all four major manufacturers (Medtronic, Abbott/St. Jude, Boston Scientific, Biotronik) is necessary.
• Training and experience in the cardiac rhythm management industry are preferred.
• At least one industry certification is required - such as Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT), Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT), Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) Certifications (CCDS, CEPS, CDRMS) are also preferred.
• Proficiency with collaboration applications and software, including Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.
• Minimum Device Specifications: Device must have a stable high-speed WiFi connection, at least 8GB RAM, a minimum 2GHz processor, and the latest version of Windows or macOS.
• Employment: This is a contracted 1099 position with no specified end date.
• Fully Remote: Access to a quiet workspace, high-speed internet, and a personal computer equipped with sound/voice functionality is required.
• Hours: A minimum of 8 hours per week (averaged over the month), scheduled at least 8 weeks in advance.
• Schedule: You will have the flexibility to set your own hours within our business hours (7 AM - 9 PM ET, Monday to Saturday) using our software.
