This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Integrate knowledge from physiology, pathophysiology, and cardiac device functionality to conduct thorough evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and comprehensive analyses through remote monitoring.
• Identify irregularities in the operations of pacemakers, defibrillators, ILRs, and CRT devices, and propose strategies to resolve and rectify issues.
• Collaborate with Rhythm’s clinical team and healthcare providers concerning CIED functionality and diagnostic information through precise, professional, and standardized documentation.
• Uphold the confidentiality of sensitive data and comply with all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Protected Health Information (PHI) regulations and protocols.
• Contribute to and support Rhythm’s patient-centered care philosophy, emphasizing that every team member acts as a caregiver committed to fulfilling the patient’s needs.
• A Bachelor's or associate degree is required OR relevant experience in a related field such as nursing, medicine, electronics, or engineering.
• Successful completion of a cardiac device rhythm management course or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in managing implanted cardiac devices, with familiarity with all manufacturer programmers.
• At least 3 years of experience in cardiology; cardiac electrophysiology experience is preferred.
• Proficient in interrogating and interpreting device diagnostics from all four major manufacturers (Medtronic, Abbott/St. Jude, Boston Scientific, Biotronik).
• Preferred training and experience in the cardiac rhythm management industry.
• Certification as a Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) is required before the start date of employment.
• Additional preferred certifications include Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT), Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), and International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) Certifications (CCDS, CEPS, CDRMS), also required prior to the employment start date.
• Proficiency in collaboration tools and software (Microsoft Office Suite, Teams).
• Schedule: This position requires two 8-hour shifts (typically 9am-5pm) on Saturday and Sunday, providing on-call alert coverage along with routine assignment completion. You will work three weekdays and have two days off during the Monday-Friday schedule. You can select your two days off, pending manager approval.
• Fully Remote: You'll need access to a quiet workspace and high-speed internet. We will supply a computer and an additional monitor to facilitate your work.
