Development Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assisting our supporters in nurturing the virtue of generosity by identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and managing a portfolio of prospects.

• Arranging face-to-face meetings with donor prospects and making direct requests for both immediate and long-term funding contributions.

• Strengthening relationships with current donors by conveying the remarkable impact our organization is making on the culture of the Church and the broader world.

• Frequent travel will be necessary to meet with prospects and donors.

• Devoting a substantial portion of your time to virtual meetings and phone calls to educate, cultivate, and manage prospects and donors.

• Monitoring your activities in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.

• Collaborating with the Development team to meet fundraising objectives.

• Demonstrated success in fundraising, development, or sales.

• A results-oriented personality.

• Excellent interpersonal skills; you easily forge friendships and maintain them over time.

• Effective persuasive speaking and writing abilities.

• Well-organized, prepared, and disciplined in following up.

• Proficient with technology and comfortable in a highly data-driven environment.
