Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, nurturing a culture of innovation and excellence.

• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies, methodologies, and industry trends to integrate the latest advancements into our projects.

• Oversee the planning and execution of software development initiatives, ensuring compliance with best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance measures.

• Manage the development lifecycle, from conception to deployment, focusing on delivering scalable and robust solutions.

• Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure a unified and integrated approach to development projects.

• Effectively communicate technical concepts and project updates to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Establish processes for continuous improvement, including code reviews, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms to enhance the overall development lifecycle.

• Advocate for agile development methodologies, promoting adaptive planning, evolutionary development, and the early delivery of value.

• Mentor and empower developers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages ongoing learning and professional growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in software development with a robust background in leading and managing development teams.

• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
