This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure effective stewardship and maintain engaged communications with key donors.
• Develop and oversee enduring systems to sustain and enhance partnerships with various foundations, corporations, and individuals.
• Collaborate with the Senior Director to nurture, sustain, and advance relationships with a diverse array of organizations.
• Manage a portfolio comprising donors, prospects, and leads.
• Drive the identification and research of new leads.
• Supervise and mentor the Development Coordinator.
• Work with the CEO to design personalized, impactful outreach strategies for prospects and donors.
• Collaborate closely with GHC's Communications team to create external-facing materials.
• Oversee quarterly update communications directed at key prospects, donors, and supporters.
• Plan, manage, and execute annual end-of-year and fiscal year-end solicitation campaigns.
• Coordinate logistics for quarterly board meetings.
• Work with the Senior Director and CEO to implement a comprehensive Board engagement strategy.
• Contribute to event strategy in collaboration with the CEO and Senior Director.
• Handle all logistics and communications for both in-person and virtual fundraising events.
• Co-manage the Salesforce donor database alongside GHC's Grants Manager.
• Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree in nonprofit management, public health, communications, business, or a related field is a plus.
• 4–7+ years of progressive experience in fundraising within a nonprofit or philanthropic sector role.
• Proven experience with donor communications, solicitation campaigns, and moves management.
• Previous supervisory or coaching experience is preferred.
• Experience in a global context, engaging with a diverse array of stakeholders across U.S. social impact and global development/health sectors.
• Proficient in Salesforce or a comparable CRM; experience with donor analytics and data hygiene is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with fundraising platforms (e.g., Classy, Benevity) is a plus.
• Excellent written communication skills with experience in drafting materials for donors.
• Comfortable using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office suite.
