Development Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Lead strategic fundraising initiatives by engaging with foundations, individual donors, and other resource mobilization partners.

• Perform research and outreach activities focused on prospecting foundations and potential donors.

• Draft and submit grant proposals as well as grant reports.

• Organize and oversee fundraising events along with individual giving campaigns.

• Develop and maintain systems to track grant proposal deadlines.

• Articulate and communicate the vision, values, and impact of Strong Families’ initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in various fundraising strategies.

• Capability to plan, execute, and assess fundraising strategies effectively.

• Proficient in grant writing and reporting.

• Strong skills in building relationships with donors and foundations.

• Experience in financial oversight and data management.

• Excellent leadership and organizational abilities.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Bilingual in English and an additional language is advantageous.
