Developer, Dev-Ops Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility and accountability for the Product.

• Collaborate with various teams, including Engineering, Sec-ops, App-ops, and the Infrastructure Team.

• Evaluate errors and exceptions, creating a feedback loop to prevent future occurrences.

• Develop, define, and implement automatic healing and recovery strategies while working closely with the development team.

• Establish key operational metrics and utilize tools to assess the product's health in development, testing, and production environments.

• Contribute to the collective team vision and effectively communicate the rationale and methods to all teams.

• Promote the adoption of Site Reliability and Agile principles throughout the organization.

• Exhibit a strong sense of ownership and a commitment to enhancing production operations.

• Demonstrate the ability to understand and troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.

• Possess the capability to zoom in and out to grasp the holistic architecture and design of the product or site.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with relevant technical skills in the Azure cloud environment or a cloud-based product, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, large-scale solutions.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience with UNIX/LINUX Platforms, GIT, Jenkins, Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL, Java, Python, NodeJS, Groovy, Ansible, and Selenium.

• Exceptional communication skills, comfort in collaboration, self-motivation, effective workload management, and the ability to work across functional boundaries.

• Strong focus on achieving business outcomes.

• Excellent understanding of DevOps principles is essential.

• Possess a logical and technical mindset along with problem-solving skills that facilitate understanding various processes and navigating around them to identify and resolve issues.

• Experience in operational aspects such as monitoring, automation, and remediation.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and documenting root cause analysis and automating incidents.

• Experience in design/build activities, including defining coding standards, quality gates, and security frameworks, ensuring comprehensive implementation across all design and build activities.
