This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications utilizing Flutter and Dart.
• Construct and integrate serverless backend services using platforms such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and S3.
• Collaborate with the product owner to transform UI/UX designs into responsive, pixel-perfect interfaces.
• Consume and integrate RESTful APIs while managing offline-first and caching scenarios.
• Implement authentication and authorization workflows (e.g., OAuth/OIDC).
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code, and engage in code reviews.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and memory consumption across various devices.
• Oversee app store releases and CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues across both mobile and serverless environments.
• Keep abreast of Flutter, Dart, and AWS best practices while contributing improvements to the team.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3+ years of professional experience in mobile development, with hands-on expertise in Flutter and Dart.
• Proven experience in building and deploying serverless applications on AWS, particularly with Lambda.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Strong understanding of state management patterns in Flutter (e.g., Provider, Riverpod, Bloc).
• Experience in integrating REST APIs and managing asynchronous data flows.
• Background in developing applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of mobile CI/CD processes, app store submission, and release management.
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, testing, and version control (Git).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, agile environment.
• Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools (like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Codex) to enhance productivity and code quality.
• Experience with native iOS/Android development, infrastructure-as-code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform), and familiarity with push notifications and analytics tools.
• Industry knowledge of residential construction, homebuilding, or construction management software is a plus.
