Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement application functionalities according to product specifications and technical design.

• Enhance and maintain our existing codebase by refactoring, addressing bugs, and reducing technical debt.

• Create unit, integration, and automated tests while troubleshooting issues to ensure reliability in both development and staging environments.

• Conduct code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and assist the team in adopting best practices for maintainability and quality.

• Engage actively in daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and collaborate across functions to deliver solutions.

• Collaborate with product managers on requirements, prioritization, and trade-offs.

• Coordinate with front-end, back-end, and DevOps developers to ensure successful delivery.

• Collaborate with designers to achieve UX/UI alignment and facilitate design hand-offs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in software development, with a focus on delivering high-quality software.

• Successfully delivered at least one feature end-to-end in collaboration with other developers.

• Strong knowledge of relational databases and their application in software development.

• Proficient in working with .NET technologies.

• Basic understanding of REST APIs and their significance in web development.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Experience in delivering SaaS software within an agile environment (Bonus).

• Background in collaborating with product managers to define and clarify requirements, ensuring successful delivery (Bonus).

• Experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs (Bonus).

• Familiarity with deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting code on Azure in a professional or enterprise setting (Bonus).

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization best practices for RESTful services (Bonus).

• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular (Bonus).
