This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
β’ Delivering foundational topics and recommending learning assessments based on curriculum performance tasks.
β’ Collaborating with the creative team to develop the content strategy and direction across various subject areas.
β’ Evaluating written creative briefs for new components (illustrations, photos, and/or videos) to confirm topic relevance and suitability for grade levels.
β’ Assessing the curriculum alignment of topics crafted by the creative team.
β’ Ensuring that the elements utilized are suitable for their intended educational objectives.
β’ Verifying that learning assessment activities created by the creative team correspond with the performance tasks outlined in the curriculum.
β’ A degree in education or a relevant primary/elementary teaching qualification (e.g., Primary or Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, or Child Development/Psychology).
β’ Experience in teaching or developing content for primary/elementary students (approximately Grades Kβ6).
β’ Familiarity with a primary curriculum framework, such as the US Common Core, Australian Curriculum Fβ6, UK KS1βKS2, or the Philippine Kβ6 curriculum.
β’ Experience in creating curriculum-aligned content outside of a classroom environment β such as textbooks, modules, templates, or other multimedia materials.
β’ Exceptional English writing skills to create original content that aligns with Canva's voice and brand standards.
β’ Capability to convert curriculum knowledge into clear, actionable feedback for non-teaching stakeholders, including designers, project managers, and engineers.
β’ Flexible, remote-friendly working arrangements.
