• Oversee the sales journey from the initial inquiry to the final booking, employing persuasive abilities and effective closing techniques to surpass set targets.
• Serve as the primary, trusted liaison for our partner travel agencies, offering personalized and informative services that promote repeat bookings.
• Create sophisticated, custom itineraries for East and Southern Africa tailored to the preferences of the most discerning luxury clientele.
• Track bookings and foresee potential challenges, acting as the main contact to address any unforeseen issues or emergencies that may arise during a client's trip.
• Direct experience traveling or residing in Africa.
• Curated and established networks of reliable luxury partners and suppliers across various African destinations.
• Proven experience in promoting Africa as a luxury travel destination, ideally within a Destination Management Company (DMC) or Tour Operator environment; B2B sales experience is advantageous.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing intricate itineraries with numerous components.
• Familiar with travel sales financials, including margins versus markups and their relevance in luxury travel pricing.
• Proficient with itinerary building platforms, with Wetu being strongly preferred.
