This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ OL202 builds upon the dialogue initiated in OL201 and aims to leverage students' previous work and personal experiences to reframe them as opportunities for learning about leadership.
β’ This course continues to explore the integration of academic leadership concepts with a student's personal narrative.
β’ While OL201 primarily concentrated on an individual's perspective, OL202 will broaden this discussion by incorporating insights from βotherβ viewpoints, including the analysis of secondary data through methods such as surveys and interviews.
β’ Topics related to academic leadership, including followership, ethics, communication skills, and presentation skills, will be examined.
β’ Ultimately, the course will emphasize applying academic leadership content to a student's personal and professional narrative, merging academic knowledge with real-world experiences.
β’ A Master's Degree is required.
β’ The degree must be in a Leadership-focused field (e.g., Leadership Studies, Organizational Leadership, Education).
β’ At least one year of experience working in an official role (e.g., Student Affairs, faculty liaison) with student leaders in structured student leadership training at the post-secondary level is necessary.
β’ A minimum of one year of experience with the Collegiate Leadership Competition and its associated curriculum is required.
β’ Previous university-level teaching experience in Leadership is preferred.
β’ Experience in teaching online courses is mandatory.
