This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead interdisciplinary design teams that include Electrical, Mechanical, ICT, Structural, BIM/VDC, and Architectural experts on intricate data center initiatives.
• Oversee all stages of project delivery, from proposal creation and project initiation to design finalization and construction assistance.
• Act as the main liaison for clients, fostering robust long-term relationships throughout the project duration.
• Develop and oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, staffing plans, and resource distribution.
• Track project financial performance, including fee utilization, forecasts, invoicing, and change management.
• Facilitate project meetings, design evaluations, and coordination efforts among multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure effective project execution.
• Identify project risks and apply mitigation strategies to achieve project goals.
• Ensure that deliverables meet internal QA/QC standards, client specifications, and industry best practices.
• Assist in business development tasks, including proposals, fee assessments, project planning, and client presentations.
• Mentor project teams while promoting collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence across various disciplines.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• At least 7 years of project management experience in engineering, architecture, or design consulting settings.
• Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary design teams on mission-critical, data center, or other highly technical infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated success in managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and client relationships.
• Experience in delivering projects through all phases of design and construction support.
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure and mission-critical environments, including electrical distribution and critical power systems, mechanical cooling systems and HVAC infrastructure, ICT and low-voltage systems, as well as BIM and multidisciplinary design coordination processes.
• Proficiency with Revit, ACC / BIM 360, Revizto, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and other project management and collaboration tools.
• Authorization to work in Canada.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in delivering hyperscale or enterprise data center projects.
• Professional Engineer (PEng) license, Registered Architect designation, or Professional Engineer (PE) PMP certification.
• Familiarity with working in BIM and VDC environments.
• Experience in managing multiple large projects concurrently.
