This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Facilitate client needs for the design of hyperscale data centers across the United States.
• The Design Project Manager will oversee the design process from campus planning and the foundational design phase through to the issuance of construction drawings.
• Responsibilities will include developing a collaborative plan for design execution and supervising the construction administration services provided by the external design team, as well as coordinating procurement, issuing, and managing change orders related to design and project scope, and distributing engineering information to relevant vendors and suppliers.
• Capability to collaborate with both internal and external teams, fostering strong positive relationships that yield quality work, maintain clear project communications, and ensure the project's progress aligns with required milestones and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to project sites, client meetings, etc. Anticipated travel may account for up to 30% of the employee’s schedule.
• Ensure that project deliverables align with milestones, deadlines, and are presented in the format specified by the final client and associated teams.
• A minimum of 10 years of project design experience in data center designs, or large-scale complex construction projects such as hospitals, high-rises, laboratories, manufacturing facilities, or high-power plants is acceptable.
• Proven experience working with multidisciplinary teams, both internal and external, as well as directly with client teams.
• Proficient in preparing project plans, technical specifications, developing project implementation plans and schedules, and coordinating efforts among internal and external teams.
• Experience with projects that require a solid understanding of Autodesk Platforms: Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or Building Information Modeling (BIM) engineered solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. Preferred licensure (PE, NCARB, RA) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
