This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Advocate for design excellence, value engineering, risk management, commissioning readiness, and smooth transitions to construction and operations.
• Act as the primary liaison among New Site Development, Product, Engineering, and Construction teams.
• Steer the design process from initial concept to project handover.
• Ensure that every design choice aligns with customer, stakeholder, and operational requirements.
• Establish a consistent, high-performing design function that harmonizes innovation, standardization, and rapid market entry.
• Serve as the central hub for coordinating all design-related communications, milestones, and deliverables.
• Lead product standardization initiatives in collaboration with the Product and Engineering teams.
• Represent Design Management in project governance, risk assessments, and executive briefings.
• Collaborate with Construction, Procurement, Telecom, Power, Security, Controls, Commissioning, and Operations teams.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in project and/or design management, demonstrating a successful track record in construction projects.
• Proficient understanding of technical design coordination, construction execution, and various project delivery models.
• Proven experience in leading both internal and external teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Knowledge of local building codes, permitting processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Skilled in project and design software such as Procore, MS Project, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.
• Proficient in Bluebeam, Revit, ACC/BIM 360, and design tools for generating Concept Design Site layouts is essential.
• Provide BIM support to regional teams as necessary.
• Outstanding communication, leadership, and team-building abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple complex projects concurrently under strict deadlines.
• Experience in Architecture, Construction, or Project Management is preferred.
• PMP or an equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with design-build or design-bid-build project delivery methods is preferred.
