Design Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take complete ownership and accountability for the design function encompassing product, brand, marketing, and content.

• Serve as the sole point of responsibility for all design outputs, decisions, and quality benchmarks.

• Establish priorities, make independent decisions, and execute tasks without close supervision.

• Proactively identify gaps, suggest solutions, and drive the process from concept to delivery.

• Define, create, and maintain a cohesive brand system across various platforms and social media.

• Ensure visual consistency while promoting rapid movement and experimentation.

• Elevate the overall design standards across every brand interaction.

• Oversee UI/UX design for the product and platform.

• Develop visuals for social media and performance marketing campaigns.

• Produce video, motion graphics, and high-impact 3D content, including FX-driven product videos.

• Take on smaller tasks or critical assets hands-on when necessary.

• Source, manage, and direct freelance designers, overseeing briefing, feedback, timelines, and final quality assurance.

• Build the design team from scratch, including developing hiring strategies, team structures, and long-term scaling plans.

• Establish design systems, workflows, and review processes that balance speed with quality.

• Collaborate with product, marketing, and growth teams to align with business goals.

• Retain final ownership of all design decisions.

• Proven experience in owning design across product, brand, and marketing in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong aesthetic sense, high standards, and the confidence to make decisive choices.

• Experience in building and scaling design teams or functions from the ground up.

• Comfortable working independently in ambiguous, high-growth settings.

• Hands-on design skills in UI/UX, marketing visuals, and motion/video production.

• Previous experience in crypto, gaming, gambling, or Web3 environments.
