This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the design portfolio for Industrial Solutions, establishing visual, interaction, and workflow standards across all products.
• Gain an understanding of industrial customer workflows, map user journeys, identify points of friction, and convert complex operations into intuitive product experiences.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to develop and refine product prototypes prior to engineering implementation.
• Make focused contributions to production code to either implement or enhance UI and interaction patterns.
• Review production pull requests to ensure design and UX fidelity while addressing any implementation drift.
• Manage and advance the design system for Industrial Solutions, which includes components, patterns, and documentation.
• Work closely with product management and engineering teams to guarantee that shipped products align with the original design intent.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Design, HCI, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a design engineering, UX engineering, or product design capacity.
• A portfolio showcasing shipped product work.
• Proven ability to design and document intricate user workflows, extending beyond just screen designs.
• Strong visual and UX design sensibility, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
• Proficient in Figma for creating user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and facilitating handoff.
• Skilled in React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS; capable of reading, writing, and contributing to production code.
• Experience in owning or contributing to a design system.
• Comfortable collaborating closely with Product Managers and engineers.
• An AI-forward mindset with practical experience utilizing AI tools in design and development workflows.
• Preferred: experience designing for data-intensive, industrial, or enterprise settings.
• Preferred: comfort in working with user research outputs, interview findings, usability results, and journey maps.
• Preferred: experience building prototypes that have informed engineering work.
• Preferred: familiarity with backend systems sufficient to understand technical constraints.
• Preferred: experience with or knowledge of AI agents used in design or frontend workflows.
• Preferred: prior experience in a startup or high-growth technology company.
