This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Create comprehensive 3D and 2D models as well as engineering drawings for passive thermal insulation systems utilizing CREO.

• Generate drawings in .CATDrawing or .drw file formats, adhering to program standards.

• Assist in designing MLI blanket flat patterns, layup stackups, and installation specifications for cylindrical and intricate geometries.

• Contribute to cryo-MLI drawings, which include purge provisions, perforated layer callouts, and specifications for cryogenic materials.

• Aid in SOFI drawings by providing coverage maps, thickness callouts by zone, ramp and transition geometry, and details on the application sequence.

• Ensure that all models and drawings are completely developed and ready for peer review and final approval before submission.

• Integrate review feedback and oversee drawing revisions.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience in place of a degree).

• 3-8 years of experience in engineering design or drafting within the aerospace, defense, or a similar industry.

• Expertise in CREO for 3D modeling and the creation of 2D drawings.

• Experience in producing engineering drawings in .drw format.
