This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Provide strategic leadership for a Division within DLB's Design Department.
• Oversee various engineering disciplines, leadership teams, client programs, and operational initiatives.
• Establish the long-term vision for the Division and drive operational excellence.
• Develop organizational strategies and ensure successful execution of business objectives.
• Collaborate with Executive Directors, Directors, Associate Directors, and fellow Division Directors.
• Lead change management initiatives while fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture.
• B.A. / B.S. degree in engineering, construction, or a related discipline.
• At least 15 years of industry-related experience.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership or management position, demonstrating a record of people leadership in previous roles.
• Expertise in strategic planning, organizational leadership, and divisional operations.
• Experience in budget development, financial planning, resource forecasting, and capital planning.
• Proven ability to build and maintain executive-level client relationships and drive business development initiatives.
• Skill in leading organizational change and developing high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in cross-functional collaboration and influencing decisions across multiple business units.
• Experience in developing operational policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong strategic decision-making skills using data analytics, forecasting, and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to establish divisional objectives, staffing strategies, succession plans, and long-term operational goals.
• Familiarity with business technology platforms, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), and engineering technology ecosystems to support operational excellence.
• Capability to analyze complex business challenges, create strategic solutions, and execute organizational initiatives.
• Adept at managing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a remote environment through effective communication, self-motivation, proactiveness, and robust organizational skills.
• Competence in effectively communicating with executive leadership, employees, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and delegate work across multiple teams and leadership levels.
• Understanding of and adherence to company and site safety requirements.
