Desarrollador Semisenior SAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain Software Asset Management (SAM) functionalities that align with the technical and functional requirements of the business.

• Implement and optimize processes for inventory management, standardization, reconciliation, allocation, and tracking of software licenses.

• Create scripts, rules, workflows, integrations, and components using JavaScript, APIs, and proprietary platform tools.

• Analyze information sources and validate the quality, consistency, and traceability of software asset data, contracts, and usage rights.

• Address incidents, requests, and technical issues by identifying root causes and applying corrective and preventive actions.

• Collaborate with infrastructure teams, CMDB, ITSM, architecture, and functional areas.

• Prepare technical documentation, support functional testing, and participate in knowledge transfer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a professional or final-semester student in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related disciplines.

• 2 to 4 years of experience in the development, configuration, and support of Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions.

• Preferably experienced with enterprise management platforms.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow SAM/SAM Pro.

• Familiarity with software asset management, license lifecycle, inventory, standardization, and data reconciliation.

• Intermediate level of JavaScript, REST APIs, integrations, database queries, and development and debugging tools.

• Understanding of CMDB, ITSM, discovery, licensing compliance, and technology cost optimization.

• Analytical skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to new technologies and innovative approaches.
