Desarrollador Backend, Ssr

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Independently design simple, traceable, robust, and scalable technological solutions, ensuring quality, testability, and clarity in the code.

• Develop end-to-end applications independently within a microservices ecosystem.

• Transform loosely defined problems into smaller tasks, organize them logically, and parallelize them.

• Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback.

• Understand the problem domain and the functionality of microservices related to the product.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other areas to comprehend and challenge proposed solutions.

• Work alongside the team in production support, learning and utilizing monitoring tools.

• Demonstrate ambition and commitment to technical development and delivering value to the business.

• Optimize applications to ensure SLA and availability in a critical production environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience working with Java/Kotlin (Spring ecosystem).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, etc.) and SQL.

• Three years of experience working with Rest APIs.

• Experience in software development (backend) working on medium complexity systems.

• Familiarity with development pipelines and code versioning using GIT.

• Ability to write code with good testability (automated, unit, and/or integration tests).

• Experience in software engineering best practices.

• Experience with observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, or similar).
