This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

• Development and maintenance of efficient microservices using Java.

• Implementation, design, and consumption of events with Kafka in asynchronous systems.

• Robust design and integration of asynchronous processes within the platform architecture.

• Collaborate closely with the Technical Leader on technical decision-making and architecture definition.

• Actively participate in code reviews to ensure technical quality and in the team's agile ceremonies.

• Provide support to the QA team in defining and validating technical test cases.

• Proven senior experience (3+ years) as a Backend Developer using Java and the Spring Boot framework (Mandatory).

• Practical and verifiable experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ or equivalent) (Mandatory).

• Strong understanding and handling of asynchronous processing patterns and event-driven architectures (Mandatory).

• Experience working under agile development methodologies (Mandatory).

• Immediate availability to join a project with guaranteed extension until December 2025 (Mandatory).

• Excellent communication skills, autonomy in problem-solving, and adaptability to high-demand environments.

• Desirable: Prior experience in the Fintech sector, payment solutions, or transactional processing (Visa, Mastercard, payment gateways).

• Desirable: Knowledge or experience working with NoSQL databases or distributed data architectures.

• Desirable: Technical or conversational English proficiency (considered a plus for the project).
