Deputy Responsible Pharmacist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Assumes the role and responsibilities of the Responsible Pharmacist during their absence from the office.

• Organizes and oversees all pharmaceutical operations within the company, particularly focusing on the manufacturing, advertising, information management, pharmacovigilance, monitoring and withdrawal of batches, distribution, import, and export of medicines and related products, along with the necessary storage operations.

• Ensures that transportation conditions maintain the proper preservation, integrity, and safety of medicines.

• Reviews and signs the marketing authorization applications submitted by the company after thoroughly examining the related documentation.

• Contributes to the development of research and study programs.

• Holds authority over delegated and deputy pharmacists; approves their appointments and is consulted regarding their dismissal.

• Appoints interim delegate pharmacists as needed.

• Informs other company managers or relevant bodies about any obstacles or limitations affecting the exercise of these responsibilities.

• Takes all necessary actions to ensure compliance with the obligations stipulated in Articles R. 5124-48 and R. 5124-48-1.

• For medicinal products intended for the European Union market, ensures that safety devices, as referenced in Article R.5121-138-1, are affixed to packaging according to the provisions in Articles R. 5121-138-1 to R. 5121-138-4.

• Notifies the National Agency for the Safety of Medicines and Health Products of any medicinal product they deem falsified, in accordance with the stipulations of Article L. 5111-3, for which they are responsible for manufacturing, exploitation, and distribution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment performing similar activities.

• Possesses a European pharmacy diploma or a recognized equivalent from a non-European country (Article R 5132-30).

• Proficient in both French (Article R 5132-33) and English.

• Holds validated practical experience of at least 6 months in quality control within companies that have manufacturing activities or imports, or in pharmacovigilance and batch monitoring solely for companies engaged in operator activities.
