This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Acts as the deputy project manager for a significant and intricate task order (or a collection of task orders that impact the same system), assisting the Program Manager in collaborating with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), task order-level Task Order Managers, government management personnel, and representatives from customer agencies.
• Under the direction of the Program Manager, accountable for the comprehensive management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and timelines outlined in the task order are executed promptly.
• Leads strategy and oversees the architecture of continuous integration and deployment while monitoring across various technologies.
• Establishes Scrum Agile methodology for large-scale clients.
• Functions as the engineer for complex technology implementations within a product-focused environment.
• Applies scripting or basic programming skills to address challenges.
• Must hold IT-II security clearance or possess a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements include U.S. Citizenship, a clear criminal history check, and no recent or pending bankruptcies)
• Must have a Project Management certification (such as Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or another recognized certification) along with five (5) years of relevant experience and five (5) years of leadership experience with increasing responsibilities in the public and/or private sector within the IT and/or consulting fields.
• Proficiency in Oracle EBS R12 or a higher platform is required.
• Experience in transitioning traditional Oracle EBS on-premise and OCI environments to an Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Application environment.
• Education: BS or BA degree or four (4) additional years of related experience.
• Five (5) years of pertinent experience is necessary.
• Proven experience in delivering multiple Agile projects and eliminating blockers using the appropriate Agile project management methodology.
• Experience in leading DevOps methodologies, implementing Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies, and advancing automated software development lifecycle toolchain.
• Experience with deployments in both on-premise and cloud environments.
• Competence in defining the roadmap with the Product Owner for any specified product and converting this into user stories.
• Experience in prioritizing user stories within the product backlog.
• Capability in managing a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience with testing to ensure quality assurance levels.
• Proven experience as the engineer of complex technology implementations in a product-centric environment.
• Familiarity with DevOps services utilizing infrastructure as a service providers (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, RackSpace / OpenStack).
• Experience using configuration management tools (e.g., TFS, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt, LVM).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., LXC, Docker, Rocket, OpenShift).
