This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.
• Design and negotiate enterprise-level contracts that facilitate the expansion of Fuze Services.
• Assess a diverse array of products and programs to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards, particularly those set by the FDA and HIPAA.
• Act as the internal regulatory authority for Fuze Services, guaranteeing that growth initiatives comply with and are defensible under applicable federal and state laws.
• Provide guidance on matters pertaining to US-based testing.
• Regularly assess and minimize risks associated with the federal Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS) and its state counterparts.
• Establish and oversee a review system for marketing and communications materials throughout Fuze Health, including claims substantiation and the use of intellectual property.
• Supervise attorneys and other legal professionals who support Fuze Services and Legal Operations.
• Manage essential operational agreements within Fuze Services.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and an active legal license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 12–14 years of legal experience within the healthcare sector, with a preference for both law firm and in-house experience.
• Extensive subject matter expertise in healthcare regulatory frameworks.
• Proven track record as a lead negotiator for complex, revenue-impacting enterprise agreements within the healthcare domain.
• Familiarity with payer/PBM contracting, corporate practice of medicine, reimbursement economics, and healthcare fraud-and-abuse laws (including AKS and FCA).
• Established management skills, including experience leading attorneys, collaborating with cross-functional executive teams, and shaping enterprise-level legal strategies.
• Outstanding communication and judgment capabilities, with the ability to deliver rapid analyses on enterprise agreements and evaluate strategic risks beyond mere contractual terms.
