This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the voter education repository from inception to completion.
• Develop initial voter education materials for each program state and oversee research, verification, approval, and integration into Rally.
• Create and manage a voter education calendar that outlines registration deadlines, mail ballot dates, early voting periods, and Election Day.
• Act as the definitive source of information regarding voting rules and procedures for both staff and participants.
• Monitor updates in laws, procedures, and litigation, translating official guidelines into accessible language.
• Review and authorize voting-related scripts, FAQs, saved replies, and content directed at participants.
• Evaluate and sustain approved external voter-protection resources.
• Develop and supervise FAQs, one-pagers, and various participant-oriented voter education materials.
• Serve as the voter protection captain in Slack during live events, coordinating assistance and addressing escalations.
• Manage the intake and escalation of voter education inquiries from participants, including liaising with county election offices.
• Collaborate with participant experience, partnerships, events, and content teams on curriculum, inbox templates, and staff training.
• Adjust responsibilities as the program transitions from the development phase to peak operational times.
• 3–4 years of experience in digital organizing, voter protection, voter education, research, election administration, or advocacy for voting rights.
• Familiarity with voting rights legislation and know-your-rights protocols.
• Capable of interpreting statutes or official election guidance and accurately translating them into straightforward language.
• Proficient in managing content within a CMS or a similar system.
• Comfortable working within structured content systems, trackers, and databases.
• Proven judgment and attention to detail, including a readiness to verify and escalate issues rather than make assumptions.
• Excellent skills in plain-language writing.
• Experience in training, coaching, or acting as a point of escalation for frontline staff or volunteers.
• Comfortable being the primary Slack resource during dynamic live events and making critical decisions under pressure.
• Ability to establish a new function and design effective systems.
• Strong dedication to maintaining non-partisan accuracy in voter education.
• Access to a computer, reliable internet connection, and a quiet workspace for supporting live events.
• Availability for flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends during peak periods.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are a plus.
• Existing relationships with or experience collaborating with voter protection or state voting rights organizations are a plus.
• Flexible scheduling, including some evenings and weekends.
• Remote work arrangement.
• Full-time position through November 15, 2026.
