• Assist with the on-site commissioning and integration of systems, which includes hardware verification, network configuration, software setup, and conducting safety checks.
• Execute acceptance testing, document the results, and aid in addressing any readiness gaps prior to the go-live phase.
• Address real-time challenges during deployment and go-live periods through active troubleshooting, log analysis, triage, and escalation to engineering when necessary.
• Perform preventative maintenance audits, carry out minor repairs, retrofits, and manage recalls on deployed Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).
• Provide training to customer personnel regarding system operations, maintenance procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Technical Support, Field Services, and Systems Engineering team members to resolve customer-related issues and relay field feedback.
• Oversee the status of the AMR fleet, assist in tracking repairs, and support updates to documentation.
• Maintain communication with customer teams to ensure clarity regarding deployment status and the resolution of issues.
• Offer after-hours or on-call support as necessary throughout the project.
• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
• Willingness to travel across the U.S. and Canada (50-60% of the time).
• A valid, unrestricted driver's license is essential.
• An Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, Computer Engineering Technology, or a relevant field is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in technical field service, industrial automation, IT/OT support, robotics, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Proficient in hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Basic knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) is required.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, and general connectivity troubleshooting is necessary.
• Experience in the integration of AMR/AGV systems is a plus.
• Proven experience working directly with clients and end-users in operational settings.
• Experience in training users on automated equipment or software is advantageous.
