Deployment Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Client Problem-Solving: Be the go-to person for resolving issues. When a TPA integration fails, when a client has a data inquiry that stumps everyone, or when a new connection request needs scoping and innovative solutions, you take charge. Analyze the problem, mobilize necessary resources, and deliver results.

• AI Agent Management & Tuning: Develop, oversee, and consistently enhance a team of AI agents. You are responsible for agent performance. This includes refining prompts, assessing outputs, broadening agent capabilities, and optimizing workflows to tackle increasingly complex challenges in integration diagnostics, client deliverables, reporting automation, intake processing, and data analysis.

• Integration Delivery Ownership: Take charge of the delivery schedule for our primary account (with over 80 contracted connections) and a selection of secondary accounts. Manage the Jira intake process, ensure requirements are accurately captured, and drive work through the development pipeline.

• Client-Facing Escalation: Act as the main operational point of contact for key client IT and Business Operations stakeholders. Participate in leadership meetings, identify blockers early, and ensure that delivery commitments are fulfilled.

• Stakeholder Communication: Be responsible for weekly delivery updates to senior client stakeholders. Utilize AI to generate these reports, preserving your weekends.

• Cross-Account Coverage: Offer problem-solving assistance across the wider client portfolio as necessary, including delivery troubleshooting, integration scoping, and contract coordination.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-4 years in consulting, implementation, or healthcare operations: You have a proven track record of tackling challenging problems with incomplete information while delivering under pressure. Experience in strategy consulting, management consulting, implementation, or similar client-facing delivery roles is essential.

• AI-native (required): This is a must-have. You build agents, fine-tune them, evaluate their output quality, and expand their capabilities over time. You don't just use AI for summarizing emails; you envision what a well-tuned team of agents can achieve, rather than relying solely on your own efforts.

• Client-facing confidence: You can participate in daily technology leadership discussions with senior client stakeholders and handle tough questions with poise. You are comfortable being the primary contact when challenges arise.

• Structured thinker: You embrace ambiguity and create clarity. You deconstruct complex integration issues into manageable components and drive them to resolution.

• Low ego, high throughput: You are willing to perform operational tasks effectively, recognizing that they are fundamental to all strategic initiatives. No task is too small if it advances the client's objectives.

• Healthcare exposure preferred, not required: Experience with payers, TPAs, claims data, or health plan operations is advantageous. If you lack this background, you should be capable of quickly ramping up.

• Nice to Haves: Experience in building, tuning, and measuring AI agent workflows to address multi-step business challenges. A background in strategy consulting, management consulting, or implementation delivery at a professional services firm. Familiarity with TPA operations, claims processing, healthcare EDI, or health plan administration. Proficiency with Jira, Snowflake, or healthcare data integration platforms. Comfort in a fast-paced, early-stage environment where project scopes may evolve rapidly.
