Deployment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collaborating within the Client Deployment Team to ensure the seamless delivery of solutions, which includes both high- and low-level design alongside the final technical deployment and integration of these solutions.

• Strategically planning, preparing, and establishing lab, test, and production environments for client and partner deployments.

• Installing and configuring cloud-native solutions utilizing Kubernetes.

• Emphasizing automation, focusing on technical deployment, and exploring methods to expedite these processes.

• Overseeing, monitoring, managing, and updating existing deployments, guaranteeing the stability of solutions.

• Assisting with incident management by providing second-level support, as well as performing error analysis and classification.

• Coordinating customer inquiries and disseminating relevant client information.

• Enhancing operational efficiency in deployment and support processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in managing Linux machines (setup, administration, operation).

• Experience with intricate networking infrastructures, including routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancing techniques.

• Familiarity with telecommunications systems (4G, 5G, IMS).

• Practical experience in Kubernetes administration.

• Strong debugging and tracing skills (Wireshark).

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

• Understanding of virtualization and cloud computing is a plus.

• Knowledge of signaling standards and protocols such as SIP and Diameter is a plus.

• Experience with public cloud platforms like AWS and GCP is a plus.
