Deployment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Collaborating within the Client Deployment Team to ensure the seamless delivery of solutions, encompassing both high-level and low-level design along with final technical deployment and integration.

• Strategizing, preparing, and establishing lab, test, and production environments for client and partnership deployments.

• Installing and configuring cloud-native solutions utilizing Kubernetes.

• Emphasizing automation – concentrating on technical deployment and seeking opportunities to enhance the efficiency of these processes.

• Overseeing, monitoring, managing, and updating existing deployments to maintain solution stability.

• Assisting with incident management by providing second-level support, error analysis, and classification.

• Coordinating client requests and disseminating pertinent information to clients.

• Enhancing operational efficiency in deployment and support procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient with Linux systems (setup, administration, operation).

• Familiarity with complex networking infrastructures, including routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancing techniques.

• Understanding of telecommunications systems (4G, 5G, IMS).

• Practical experience in Kubernetes administration.

• Skills in debugging and tracing (Wireshark).

• Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English.
