This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Discuss treatment plans with patients, clearly explaining procedures, timelines, fees, and subsequent steps.
• Schedule appointments for consultations, treatments, follow-ups, and referrals.
• Confirm dental insurance benefits, coverage limitations, deductibles, and patient obligations.
• Generate treatment estimates and review payment plans or financing alternatives with patients.
• Follow up with patients who have outstanding or unplanned treatment.
• Respond to patient inquiries about procedures, insurance, billing, and scheduling.
• Collaborate closely with dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, and front-office personnel to ensure precise treatment coordination.
• Maintain patient records, treatment notes, insurance information, and communication logs in the dental practice management system.
• Submit pre-authorizations, insurance estimates, and necessary documentation as required.
• Track treatment acceptance and assist the practice in enhancing case conversion rates.
• Manage sensitive patient and financial data with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Create a warm and supportive patient experience throughout the treatment journey.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in dental treatment coordination, dental administration, or a comparable dental position.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, treatment plans, and tooth numbering systems.
• Proficient in verifying dental insurance benefits and articulating patient financial responsibilities.
• Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Curve Dental, or similar platforms.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and follow-up abilities.
• Comfortable discussing treatment costs and payment options with patients.
• Capable of managing multiple patients, appointments, and treatment plans with accuracy.
• Experience supporting a North American dental practice is preferred.
• A degree, diploma, or clinical background in dentistry, dental assisting, or dental hygiene is advantageous.
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience with dental insurance pre-authorizations and claims processing.
• Knowledge of cosmetic, restorative, orthodontic, or surgical dental procedures.
• Experience utilizing patient communication, scheduling, and financing platforms.
• Ability to manage treatment follow-up reports and track unscheduled cases effectively.
• Confident, empathetic, and comfortable communicating with patients via phone, email, or video call.
