This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Perform thorough evaluations of clinical records to assess the appropriateness of treatment, timelines, fact chronology, and the determination of reasonable and necessary treatment modalities, causation, and medical necessity.
• Evaluate the alignment between diagnoses, procedures, and clinical documentation.
• Provide expert opinions on clinical findings, care assessments, and the application of practice standards in a formally written summary report.
• Attend and respond to hearings as necessary, which may involve some travel.
• Licensed Dentist (DDS or DMD) in good standing.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience conducting expert clinical reviews of treatment records, including the review of radiographs, procedure reports, treatment notes, and other records to support causation.
• Proven ability to convey complex clinical information to various audiences.
• Excellent written, verbal, visual, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Experience in creating formal, professionally written reports that may be utilized in litigation.
• Capability to handle multiple projects concurrently while adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint) for documentation, reporting, data management, and administrative tasks.
