Cloud OpenShift Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Regularly evaluate, design, and execute Red Hat's key offerings, encompassing Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF), and Kubernetes-based technologies.

• Implement automated, containerized cloud application platform solutions with an emphasis on infrastructure aspects including networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, high availability, and system resilience.

• Quickly acquire knowledge of new technologies, such as container orchestration, container registries, container build strategies, cloud storage, and software-defined networks.

• Act as a subject matter expert on-site, addressing technical, developmental, or strategic IT requirements.

• Oversee problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, testing, and deployment of intricate open-source solutions.

• Adjust to evolving customer requirements.

• Address incidents, escalations, and exceptions in a professional manner.

• Deliver high-quality results both on-site and post-engagement, ensuring they are timely and within the scope of the assigned project, including project journals, status reports, and other standard documentation.

• Engage in sales and proposal presentations as necessary, in addition to fulfilling ongoing team account responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree in computer science, engineering, or an MBA is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Linux system administration, ideally with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or a derivative.

• At least 2 years of experience with Kubernetes, AKS, GKS, EKS, Docker, Podman, or other container and PaaS-related technologies.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in scripting or programming.

• Understanding of system management, including installation, custom channels, deploying virtualized systems, basic client-based security, repositories, and creating core builds.

• Demonstrated experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Ansible Automation Platform, and other Red Hat products is advantageous.

• Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile (e.g., Scrum), Waterfall, and Incremental Agile and DevOps mindsets is desirable.

• Willingness to learn and adopt Agile Practices.

• Possession of Red Hat Certifications.

• Proficiency in Spanish.
