Dental Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the thorough collection of all overdue balances.

• Submitting precise claims within a 24-hour timeframe post-audit.

• Performing follow-ups on aged claims every 14 days.

• Achieving and maintaining a zero status for insurance aging over 90 days.

• Collaborating with the surgical team, verification team, and patient coordinators to provide updates on patients' insurance details.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred experience in dental billing, particularly within the past eight months.

• Strong understanding of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and the capability to evaluate payments and adjustments effectively.

• Enjoys the challenge of meticulously managing insurance claims.

• Self-motivated, skilled at setting goals and working independently.

• Knowledge of terminology associated with dental billing and insurance.

• Ability to assess and resolve insurance discrepancies.

• A dedicated workspace with a monitor and high-speed internet is essential.

• Must be proficient in multitasking.

• The ideal candidate should be a quick learner with a strong desire for personal and professional growth.

• Proven organizational and analytical skills, along with a meticulous attention to detail, are required.

• Previous experience in insurance is preferred.
