Denial Management Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The Patient Account Representative is tasked with managing accounts to ensure timely resolution.

• Conduct follow-ups on claim submissions and review remittances for insurance collections.

• Generate and follow up on disputed balances from both governmental and non-governmental entities.

• Perform necessary actions on accounts with uncollected balances.

• Investigate each account using the company's patient accounting applications and online resources.

• Address issues and formulate solutions that will enhance revenue collection.

• Maintain desk inventory to stay current without backlog while meeting productivity and quality standards.

• Engage in meetings, training seminars, and in-service programs to enhance job knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting is preferred.

• 1-4 years of experience in medical claims and/or hospital collections.

• Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute.
