Demand Planner – Wholesale UGG Men’s

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Create demand forecasts at various levels of aggregation for different time frames by examining historical sales data, market trends, seasonality, promotional activities, product lifecycle, customer purchase orders, and projections.

• Communicate forecast assumptions and the implications of strategic initiatives with broader teams and stakeholders.

• Conduct continuous analysis and monitoring of actual performance against the forecasted plan, identify significant discrepancies, implement corrective measures, and document underlying assumptions.

• Coordinate and spearhead the demand consensus process to pinpoint adjustments in the demand plan, achieve agreement on key drivers, and highlight significant changes.

• Collaborate with supply planning teams to ensure effective inventory management throughout the product lifecycle.

• Evaluate both external and internal data points to inform decisions regarding the current demand plan.

• Partner with Sales and Merchandising teams to understand and critically assess demand assumptions.

• Update plans in the system and lead the review of plan modifications to secure sign-off.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; a degree in supply chain management, merchandising, or a related field is preferred.

• Certifications in demand and/or supply planning and data management are advantageous.

• 3-5 years of experience in retail, buying, planning, or sales operations.

• Familiarity with manufacturing and supply chain processes.

• Experience in planning, inventory management, commercial analysis, operations, buying/procurement, financial analysis, or logistics/distribution.

• Demonstrates a high level of independence and the ability to take initiative.

• Proficient with planning and data management systems.

• Capability to collaborate and influence across different functions.

• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and a creative problem solver.

• Proven success in a team-oriented environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and meeting facilitation abilities.

• Strong aptitude for numerical and statistical analysis.

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to derive actionable insights.

• Familiarity with common demand planning metrics and drivers.
