Demand Planner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluate overall product demand and predict future requirements and needs

• Contribute to component demand planning schedules

• Enhance demand forecasting precision for both internal and external clients

• Collaborate with demand data scientists to identify suitable statistical forecasting methods

• Oversee product history and promotional demand while recognizing historical sales trends and demand patterns

• Ensure the accuracy of demand model input data and assess internal demand stream information

• Partner on Sales & Operations Execution processes to improve demand sensing and refine the long-term Integrated Business Planning (IBP) perspective

• Create reports and lead demand review meetings

• Track progress towards business objectives and compliance with demand forecast timelines

• Build consensus on unconstrained demand

• Leverage IBP data scientist modeling, market insights, and field sales feedback to generate demand forecasts

• Coordinate demand discussions with sales and marketing stakeholders

• Conduct root cause analysis of forecast accuracy, bias, and value-added metrics

• Develop consolidated forecasts of unconstrained demand

• Assess the influence of previous month's IBP discrepancies on the current month's planning

• Facilitate and redesign best practices while promoting agreement among functional experts

• Execute improvement initiatives and create communication plans for stakeholders

• Monitor forecast usage and plan fulfillment

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent qualifications

• Over 8 years of relevant experience for entry to this role

• In-depth knowledge and specialized expertise in sales, marketing, or finance

• Experience in forecasting or planning is advantageous

• Strong executive presence coupled with leadership capabilities

• Aptitude for analyzing complex business challenges and delivering significant results

• Exceptional communication skills across various management levels

• Self-driven and capable of working independently
