This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
β’ Lead a team that delivers specialized technical services to clients through enhanced service offerings.
β’ Develop and manage global demand and supply plans, balancing drug inventories with forecasts, patient enrollment data, trends, planning software, and network capacity/utilization data.
β’ Ensure the robustness of plans and optimize global and regional supply strategies to maintain a steady supply for patients.
β’ Integrate demand planning with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and incorporate updated forecast information into the divisional S&OP process.
β’ Establish, implement, and track performance metrics/KPIs related to cycle time, cost, quality, and risk mitigation.
β’ Collaborate with global and site project management teams and clients to provide client data that supports supply chain planning.
β’ Utilize advanced supply chain concepts to align strategies with clinical studies and associated factors.
β’ Drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
β’ Serve as a subject matter expert and engage in initiatives that enhance Client Services effectiveness.
β’ Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
β’ Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or operations management.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain and/or planning, focusing on global supply chain design and logistics management.
β’ At least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role with direct customer engagement.
β’ 3 years of management experience is required.
β’ Preferred understanding of clinical supply requirements, phases of clinical development, and factors that affect study designs.
β’ Strong comprehension of the manufacturing process and its impact on overall business costs.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
β’ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and collaborate in teams, including client services, technical, planning, and financial expertise.
β’ Excellent analytical and interpersonal capabilities.
β’ Willingness to travel, potentially 10β15%, with some international travel required.
