This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Partner with sales and field engineering teams to boost customer adoption and growth of the Databricks platform.
• Enhance technical accountability and assist complex customers in maximizing platform value and return on investment.
• Spearhead post-technical-win account strategies and execution plans for strategic customer accounts.
• Take ownership of technical leadership for designated use cases and clients across sales teams and internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate onboarding, enablement, success, go-live, and effective workload consumption.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries and issues related to production and go-live status.
• Coordinate Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding/Technical Services, Support, and expert technical resources.
• Develop and implement plans to expedite key use cases into production and manage Professional Services proposals.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams for innovations, private previews, and upgrades.
• Create execution plans that encompass production use cases, enablement, product adoption, cloud cost management, tuning and optimization, and governance.
• Deliver internal and external KPI updates on usage, customer health, investment status, risks, product adoption, and use-case advancement to the Technical GM.
• Over 5 years of experience responsible for technical project or program delivery in Data and AI.
• Ability to engage in technical discussions and design decisions with customers.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting roles.
• Familiarity with solution architecture for distributed data systems.
• Understanding of how to attribute business value and outcomes to project deliverables.
• Experience in technical program or project management, including accountability for account, stakeholder, and resource management.
• Proven experience in resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
• Experience in conducting open-ended discovery workshops, creating strategic roadmaps, performing business analysis, and managing complex programs/projects.
• Demonstrated track record of exceeding quotas, goals, or similar objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% as necessary.
